Neptune is the eighth and farthest planet away from the sun in our solar system. You cannot see Neptune without a large, powerful telescope. Neptune is the third largest planet in our solar system; and is a gas giant like Jupiter, Saturn, and Uranus. Neptune is mainly composed of hydrogen and helium. A day on Neptune lasts for about 19 hours, and A year on Neptune lasts for about 165 earth years. Neptune has 13 moons that orbit it, and has a very peculiar moon called triton. Triton orbits Neptune in an opposite direction that Neptune turns on its axis.
