Mercury is the smallest planet in our solar system, and is the closest planet to the sun. Mercury is still 36 million miles away from the sun despite it being the closest to the sun. A year on mercury would only be 88 days long, but the days on mercury last longer than they do on earth because Mercury turns very slow on its axis. Mercury is one of the inner planets, and has a solid surface. Mercury has no moons unlike earth.
